I have always had a dog or two in my life and care deeply about them. I am the go to person for friend’s and family pets. Have had several of our sweet dogs live to 16+ years old and I am comfortable and patient with their aging challenges. Enjoy taking care of nervous/anxious dogs and all sizes up to about 15 pounds. Have cared for dogs who are blind/deaf and ones that have extra special needs. Both my husband and I are loving and gentle and we have a calm and safe home.

Christine is the most amazing person on the planet. She was so great with Cooper, she spoiled him whole time when he was there. I had lots of issue with leaving my baby in the kennel or with anyone, he never happy, always wanted to run away from those places and never go back. At this time with Christine, he was happy, playful. He came to me say hi and run back with his bodies and Christine. This also tells me I can bring Cooper back any time without any fear he did not get a great care. I would recommend Christine for everyone, people should learn from her how to treat dogs, people because she cares a lot. Thank you Christine, you are the best. 😊

We have a secure fenced yard and dog friendly non-smoking home. I will follow your guidelines for your dog such as meals, treats, medications, kennel, walks, sleeping on bed, etc. 4 year old grandson in home occasionally usually 6 to 7 days a month so prefer kid friendly dog. He is very good with dogs as he has many in his life. You can be assured your dog will be loved, safe, cared for well and comfortable. I do not feed human food and do not share food from other dogs. Prefer dogs under 15 pounds who do not shed. Dogs must be fully vaccinated and vaccinations are current.

I would like to know if your dog might try to get out of the house/yard or has separation anxiety or specific fears that I can help with. Our little guy has challenges with anxiety and I like to soothe and support. We have screen doors on front and back which lock so no accidental escapes.I put a tag on each dog with my phone number in case of worst case scenario by somehow escaping.
A typical day
I am very close to several parks and pathways where I usually go for walks. Depending on weather I rent a private fully fenced dog park (Paw Butler) where only my dogs are allowed. Even the smallest dog cannot get out. The dogs love it!! I never take dogs to community off leash parks. Our Bichon loves to play with other dogs and chasing stuffed toys and balls. He gets so excited when all his friends arrive! I ensure dogs are safe when playing and make sure they have other chew toys and stuffed toys to entertain themselves. I do basic training all the time.

Availability
I am retired and enjoy having small dogs to care for, cuddle, play with and exercise. I am a very calm, patient and loving person to all types of pets, especially dogs. I am a foster parent with Calgary Humane Society and our current Bichon was adopted from them.
