I wrestled some with the rating I would leave. On one hand I think the dogs were adequately taken care of. That’s the first goal. Great. However, as the sitters stated when we first dropped off the dogs (paraphrasing) “we are not professionals”. This is definitely apparent in the non-dog interactions. Other boarding places, there is a certain structure to the interactions. An A-to-B-to-C. The interactions here were free form and awkward. I felt the need to drive the process. On pick up, I got the strong impression of “OK, we’re done. Get out of our home.” This is the underlying reality of most businesses transactions. However, the successful ones at least appear friendly and are professionally courteous. Those get repeat business. 3/5 stars only because I can’t do 2.5. Will otherwise use the service again.
