Long walks and lots of play.

Pet care experience

Getting to take care of my own pup has been such a great experience, so I’m very excited to bring some other dogs along for the ride! I am currently a student studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine which allows me to have plenty of at-home time with my pups. I’m a great fit for dogs that like a lot of exercise, since I’m always inspired by my pup to get out and explore some of the many parks in the San Francisco area. I also live with my loving boyfriend Ben and my mischievous pup Maui. Maui is a Husky mix with plenty of energy, so your pup will always have a playmate around! When we decided to get a dog it was important to us to get her properly trained, so we took her to Dan Perata's training camp. The camp ended up training us instead! We have learned to train without treats and use physical and vocal command to communicate with our furry creature. It’s been very helpful in assisting with all sorts of different dogs. I love taking pictures and videos of my dog so I will update owners on their dog's adventures daily. Hopefully I'll snag some frame worthy photos! I am trustworthy and reliable so answering texts and calls quickly will be high on my priority list. I’m also happy to follow the exact same rules and guidelines that you’ve set for your own pup. For example, if you don't let their dogs on furniture then I will teach them the same in my home. We’re big on good behavior, so we’ll make sure not to spoil your pooch too much! I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment. Since I do not have a yard, I am always walking my dog around the neighborhood. There are plenty of parks in the vicinity, and I love to visit as many as possible.

Christine is great with Wiley! It's fun to see how excited he gets to see her and to hear how much fun he has with her dog Maui. She is great with updates and sending photos. I feel good knowing that Wiley is safe and having a great time with her! am definitely going to be a repeat client!

Christine is a natural with dogs. She was thoughtful enough to send video clips for me to see and kept me informed about my dog Gracie who is family to me. I trust her with my family anytime. Gracie smiles every time she sees Christine nearby.

Christine is reliable, consistent, and most of all terribly loving to my little Cavalier. She is his favorite person, and will soon be a favorite of your pups! I highly recommend Christine.

Information Christine N. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Does your dog like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your dog?

A typical day

I'm fortunate enough to live right next door to Buena Vista Park, which is a large, beautiful, wooded park with trails and its own dog section. It’s perfect for playtime! On the other side of my apartment building is Corona Hill Park, which overlooks the city and has a fenced in dog park as well. I am also up the hill from Duboce Park where a lot of dogs play as well as near Alamo Square Park that has a huge section for dogs to run. Although I don’t have a yard, your pup and I will be able to spend plenty of time together getting a ton of exercise! I always go for a quick run in the morning with Maui for about 45 minutes. That typically includes a quick game of fetch as well. After we head back home for some breakfast, we’ll have some free time together while I get some work done. After that, we’ll head out to the doggy park for a lunch walk for about an hour. Your pup and Maui can get to know each other in the house a little before we head out for our early evening walk and get the chance to say hello to some of the pups being walked around the neighborhood. Finally, we can settle down for cuddles after some doggy dinner.
