I have always owned dogs. I currently have a 4 year old chihuahua mix who enjoys making new friends. There is a dog park in my neighborhood where dogs can get plenty of exercise outside. I am a student at USF, but my classes are only Monday and Wednesday from 9 am to 3 pm, with a break from 11 to 12. I also have a part-time job, but I come home during my lunch breaks to walk my dog. I am comfortable with giving medications to dogs that need them. When I am home, I walk my dog every two hours. He never goes more than 4 hours without being walked. We typically take a 20 to 30 minute walk either around my complex or down 42nd street for exercise.
