Until about a year ago I'd been living with dogs for most of my life--I have had an Airedale, a Brittany spaniel and most recently a Bichon. I understand the play and energy needs of younger pups just as much as the slower pace, patience and extra relaxation needed to care for older dogs and enjoy both equally! I know that not every dog is outgoing and am happy to give them the time they need to adjust me. I am available during the day most weekdays and would be happy to check in on your good boy or girl to give them some quality attention and affection while you're at work! I love a nice, long walk just as much as a good cuddle. However, I'm not always able to control some dogs who pull a lot on walks, so if yours requires a strong arm to hold their leash I may not be the right person to walk your pup. I have watched dogs and cats for friends and family for many years and love interacting with all of them. I also worked at a Humane Society in Michigan for a year where I walked, played with and fed both cats and dogs, so if you happen to have both that's fine! I feel comfortable handling unforeseen situations when I'm with your dog and would never do anything with them that I wouldn't do with my own.
