I am a newcomer to Oaklyn, so I am still learning the ropes a little bit but I like to to put down roots quick and make a town feel like home! As for my background: I've learned quite a bit from my dog training friends and family members, including body language to communicate with dogs, and body language to be aware of if the dog is under stress. I have been taught ways to defuse stressful situations before they becomes aggressive for anyone involved. I am very enthusiastic to be around animals, that being said I know when to be exited and when to calm thing down. I pay particular attention to every breeds health problems and cater to them, i.e. not walking them to far if they have arthritis, etc. I am conscious about different dogs breeds and their different needs which I go to great lengths in leaning to accommodate everyone. I go out of my way to make sure that my furry friends are always comfortable and in a safe environment. It gives me great joy when I see fuzzy companions happy and to know that I had something to do it! I enjoy walking, jogging if the dog is up to it, playing games like fetch or tug-of-war, and a good old fashioned belly rub. I am not opposed to giving baths or grooming in anyway I can, including clipping nails. I have my own transportation and am not opposed to taking the dogs to the vet, groomers, or parks. I am also willing to work on training with my k-9 friends if approved by the family of course.
