I am a former dog groomer turned attorney who works from home 100% of the time. I understand what it's like to be sad to leave your fur babe at home alone while you're away - it's depressing and can be anxiety-inducing. I would be happy to watch your fur babe to give you peace of mind when you have other commitments. I live in an apartment complex that has a dog run in the back for dogs to securely run around unleashed. It's also a great place to take dogs who get anxious from all of the city noise when trying to do their business. We have elevators, so there is no issue if your dog has problems with stairs. There is also a dog park roughly 2 blocks from me where I can take them to get exercise and socialization. I do have my own dog - his name is Murphy and he is a rescue from Washington, DC, our former home. He loves to have friends visit, including cats (those that are dog friendly)! He does sleep with me in my bed, and your babe would be welcome to, as well, if that is what they are used to. He does have his quirks, as he is a rescue, so I have several years of experience with dogs who are quirky. I'm also happy to bathe upon request. $15 for dogs 20lbs and below. $20 for 21-50lbs. $25 for 51lbs+. I do not have grooming equipment, so I cannot offer haircuts or trims.
