We are a dogsitting couple in Carmel Valley! We took a break from Rover for a few years and now we’re happy to be back dogsitting in San Diego! We have a happy mini Australian Shepherd, Logan, who loves other dogs and is very friendly and sweet. Through our many years dogsitting through Rover, we have hosted a wide range of pups in size and personality, so rest assured your dog will be in great, experienced hands! We live in a two bedroom apartment in Carmel Valley with a dogpark in the complex. We enjoy being active so depending on your dog's level of activity, we’ll bring them along for runs/walks. To prepare for an upcoming visit, just let us know your pup's feeding/walking schedule and any special accommodations. We only ask you to prepare food for your pup, but we welcome any special toys, treats, or bedding that your pup loves to keep them happy during their stay! We just love Christine. We always know and trust that Betty will be well taken care of. For this last visit we had concerns because Betty was having health issues and was in the middle of medications and diet changes. I let Christine know ahead of time and she was so reassuring that she would have no issues administering Betty's medications and adhering to her food requirements. It gave me the peace of mind I needed to still take our vacation. As always, we got photos/videos and updates of how Betty was doing while we were away. Additionally, our flight home got delayed and Christine was flexible with a later pick up time. She is so great and we are so thankful to have found her online! : )
Christine's boyfriend Nick watched our pup this time and he was just as great as Christine! ( I appreciated that she was able to accommodate our request even though she herself was unavailable.) We got pictures and videos each day. Nick even took Betty to a little doggie obstacle course : ) Drop off and pick up was a breeze. And as usual, their dog Logan, was a great buddy for Betty to play with. Thank you!
Christine responded to messages quickly, making It easy to coordinate. She was easy to work with - no fuss. Flexible as well - accommodating a later pick up due to a delayed flight. I recommend her and would have her sit my dog again.
