Pet care experience
My parents had owned dogs my whole life so I have always grown up with dogs, and love all kinds of dogs. My junior year of undergrad I adopted a dog of my own, Kiah. She crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2022 at the age of 13. In her old age, she had many very specific accommodations, so I am extremely comfortable in caring for senior dogs. I was always nervous to leave her with a sitter (and rarely did) because of all of her accommodations - I want you to know that I am fully prepared to accommodate seniors, as I know how difficult it can be to find an appropriate sitter for them. I now have a young bull terrier named Coltrane and looking to adopt another pit bull soon. In undergrad I worked at a pet shop for a few years, so I dealt with a lot of types of dogs at work. I also know a lot about dog food from this job, so I can help with questions about dog food! I recently graduated from TTU with my Master's in Saxophone and Jazz. I now make a living from teaching at various local middle school and high schools, gigging as a freelance musician (currently playing for a musical), and Rover.
Reviews
Milo was almost a little sad when he had to leave his dog step siblings behind when we picked him up after our last trip - he loves going to Christine's home! And we are very comfortable with him being there! We are very glad we found Christine after both of our previous sitters had moved away.
Christine is very accommodating and per the photos provided Milo appears to have enjoyed his stay very much und now seems to miss his host doggy brothers and sisters
Christine went above and beyond to make Milo feel at home! She offers a very loving and attentive environment and everything is neat and tidy; all of her 3 dogs were great companions for Milo.
Loved that Christine took pictures and gave updates through the day. Mila looked very happy to be there. I’m so glad she got to play with other dogs!

My house has locking screen doors in addition to a secure fenced backyard. We will spend most of the time in the house, but there will be many potty breaks/play time with my dog in the backyard too.

Information Christine E. would like to know about your pet
Feeding amount and schedule, experience with other dogs, any pills the dog might need to take, special accommodations, any routines the dog has, how/where they like to sleep, if they are crate trained or not, ect. I will be home most of the time, but I would like to know how your dog is when they are alone in the house. Do they need to be crated or are they okay out in the house (my house is always dog-proof as mine is very sneaky at getting into things if I'm not careful).
A typical day
As mentioned above, we will at least go for a 30 minute walk, but can go for longer for higher energy dogs. I like to take my dog on car rides to parks/for pup cups, ect. and can include your dog in that if you would like.

Upon graduating from Tech this past May, my current schedule consists of some teaching, playing in a musical, and Rover. I am often not away from the house for longer than 2 hours at a time. In general, my schedule is very flexible, and I have a lot of time to care for your dog. A daily routine that I implement for my dog is a 30 min walk in the mornings. If I board your dog, they will get a walk in the morning together, but I also have a large backyard to take them out for many potty breaks throughout the day.
