I've always been a big animal lover. I grew up with cats and dogs to play with and love around the house. By the time I was about 10 years old, I began to offer pet care services to my neighbors, friends, and extended family members. I would feed and play with their cats, take the dogs on nice long walks and throw a ball with them and even bathe them after a long day outside. Caregiving for animals has continued to extend into my young adult life as I walk and dog-sit through Wag! as well. Over the years, I've pet-sitted and cared for all kinds of cats and dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and ages. From dog-sitting my aunt's 15-year-old Poodles on the weekends to assisting with the care for my best friend's German Shepard puppies, to walking a variety of dogs each day with Wag!, to owning and loving many cats and dogs of my own, I've really done it all. I treat every animal as if it were my own pet, giving it the utmost love and care. I also make sure to treat every animal with individualized care because I understand that each pet is different and requires different attention, e.g. some dogs love running around in the park while others like to just sit in the shade in relax; some pets need time to warm up to their caregiver while others love every person it meets! I work with each owner and their pet to make sure their pet is getting the proper care and love catered to the specific needs.
