Loving, Patient, Fun Home for Dogs
Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs from 2-100 lbs, as well as aggressive and senior care. My goals are to keep your pup in their regular routine to ease their separation anxiety and to allow you to enjoy your time away. Boarding-your dog will sleep in our living room, garage, or backyard based on their usual routine. I would love for them to come with their own bedding or toys to keep them comfortable. One family of pets at a time in our house. I work a flexible, part-time job and can make arrangements for special needs (meds, potty breaks, etc.) as needed throughout the day. Drop in visits-I will visit your pup in your home and help keep their usual routine whether this be a walk, play time, cuddle time,or just a snack and a minute to potty. Dog walking-I will come to your home, put a leash on the pooch, and head out on the pre-determined route of your suggestion. I prefer dogs to be leash trained, potty trained, kennel sleepers, and not escape artists. But, as long as you are transparent about their needs, I am flexible. We have had several dogs in our home of varied sizes and needs. In 2020, myself and my husband lost our favorite girl Maddie who was a 14 year old American Bulldog and have decided that instead of adopting another dog, we want to host your pup in our home or even a few walks and visits as needed. We are looking forward to the companionship and exercise that having a dog around affords and can't wait to meet you and the pooch. Please note that although the profile suggests we have one dog in the home, we do not have a dog. This profile is for the fish in the pond in our backyard and Rover does not have a selection for "fish" as a pet.
Reviews
We were extremely happy with Christina. Our dogs were well taken care of and loved while in her care. She and her husband looked after them, and communicated well with us both before and throughout their stay. In the pictures she shared they looked comfortable and at ease.
5 stars to Christina! She would update and send a picture almost everyday with a little description of how our dog was doing. Easily reachable and very affordable!
This is our second time booking with Christina. She is attentive, considerate and so sweet to my pup, Gus. She sent pictures and kept me up-to-date with how Gus was doing. She will be a regular Rover host for us.
Christina is the best! She’s watched my dog twice now and I’m so happy to have found her. I know he has the best time at her house.

Information Christina U. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences, but, I would like to know all the quirks about your dog, including the bad ones. Are they an escape artist, do they eat socks, what does typical whining mean, are they dog aggressive, do they hate bicycles or skateboards, etc. Basically, what makes them most comfortable, what should I be alarmed about, and how can we both make the most of our time together.
A typical day
Living in Gladstone, we are just a couple of blocks from a nice walking path and have access to the river if your pooch is a swimmer. In our fenced backyard we can have some fun playing a little fetch, or, if the doggie prefers we can just watch TV. Off leash activities like swimming or dog parks won't take place until we have had several play sessions and we really understand your dog's personality and tendencies.
