Why Hello! Thank you for considering me to watch your pet while you are away! I am 25 years old and work from home full time. I am an experienced pet sitter with about 12 years of experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, chickens, ducks, and now looking to possibly gain some other farm animal experience since I would like a farm of my own someday I live in Fern Creek and have enough space for your fur babies to run around in our large fenced in back yard! I have always loved animals of all shapes and sizes. In 7th grade, I began volunteering at the Louisville Zoo and fell in love with caring for animals. I have been watching dogs for neighbors and friends for about 12 years. I have 2 cats, a 4-year-old Aussie Mix and a 3 year old Great Dane. Having two dogs, I know the importance of giving the same amount of attention to both as well as giving them the individual attention they are needed as well. I typically walk my dogs separately because that gives them both some time to themselves, and I can do that for you dogs if needed.

Doggy Daycare with Christina was a great experience. I have a 4 yr old Doberman names She-Ra & Christina had us over for a meet & greet twice before our daycare date since I’d never left She-Ra with anyone except family before. She-Ra was very comfortable in Christina’s home & was excited to arrive for daycare, when I picked her up she was tired from a day of play & spent the evening being lazy. Would definitely rebook with Christina!

Information Christina S. would like to know about your pet
When meeting a dog, I would like to know the basics. How old, where did you get them, what are they like etc. Its like going on a date. I would like to get to know them and learn what their likes/dislikes are. Some examples are- do you have an emergency contact in case I cannot get ahold of you? Is all the pet information in Rover up to date including the vet information? Any Health issues or medicine needing to be given? Any history of aggression? Any daily routines needing to be followed? Do they like being around other dogs? I have never had a dog not get along and love my dogs, but I can always put my animals in a different area if needed. ***I only provide one family's pets to stay in our home at once, I want to give your dog as much attention and love as it deserves! NO BREED RESTRICTIONS!!! I cannot emphasis this enough!
A typical day
My Austrian Shepard mix has been through training since he was 4 months old and now has a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification. I can teach your dog some tricks, and walk you through how to train them as well. With your permission, I can bring your pups to parks and hiking trails. Its a scientific fact that the more smells you dog finds, the happier the doggo. I will also bring a water bowl and plenty of water wherever we go. With every walk, sit, and home stay, I will bring your doggo a treat. (with you permission of course) I am a huge fan of smart bones because it gives them the sanctification of a rawhide treat WITHOUT the rawhide.
