Pet care experience
I am an animal lover to my core and have 12 years of experience giving all my love to every furry creature that comes into my home. I love to have snuggle buddies, but if your pet is shy that's ok too. I have owned pets of all species and have had dogs my whole life. I have worked at veterinary clinics and have education in CPR, basic bandaging, medication administration, and have been trained to identify the signs of seizures before they start and after they have happened. I work best with dogs that have behavior issues such as food aggression, not housebroken, and cat aggression. I can also help teach your dog not to pull as much on a leash without the use of a halter or choker collar. If your dog doesn't need to be crated, I have multiple beds they can lay on and sprawl out. I can offer basic grooming services including bath, nail trims, ear cleaning and teeth brushing. I have experience in some basic cuts and shaves but am not a certified groomer. I use a high reward system to ease the dog's stress during grooming. I do my best to cater to your schedule, like walks, feeding, and bedtime routines to ease the stress of being in a new place. My yard is large and completely fenced in for a lot of outdoor playtime if your dog wants. I'm very flexible and my aim is to make this process as seamless as possible. If you're new to Rover,, use my promo code CHRISS37651 for your first booking to get a discount! IMPORTANT NOTES: Although I am flexible, if you wish to have a meet and greet beforehand, I need a MINIMUM of 2 weeks prior to booking start date. I no longer accept boarding for cats. I accept multiple dogs from different families at one time. Rover is my full time job, but there is no guarantee that I am in my house 24/7 as I am an adult human with responsibilities. All collars and harnesses will be tightened appropriately once they are in my care. Please leave retractable leashes at home as they will not be used with me.
Reviews
As always, Christina took great care of our cat Caesar! This was a last minute trip and Christina accepted without hesitation. It’s been so great having her look after Caesar these past few years and we’ll miss her when we move out of state!
Christina took great care of my dog. Thank you!
Always the best, and most accommodating!
Thanks for always taking care of my two crazies!

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs within my home are given free reign as long as they get along with everyone. If for some reason, the stress of being away from their family is overwhelming, I will separate them into another room so they have time to decompress. All dogs are kenneled when I leave the house this is for their safety as well as they safety of all the animals in my care.

Information Christina S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they tend to be dominant in a group setting and if they like to shred things like blankets and pillows so I know what to watch for. I do not have breed preferences. I have owned pit bulls, a chihuahua, great Danes, a huskie and GSD mixes. So everyone is welcome.
A typical day
Dogs will get as much time as possible to interact with me and my dogs. My goal is the stimulate their mind and body so they are satisfied at the end of every day and what better way to do that than with play!
