If you are at Disneyland for the day or weekend, I can care for your beloved small dog. I you board at the Disneyland kennel, they are in a cage and only get let out every 4 hours. Boarding with me, your dog could roam free here in our 2300 sq ft home. Typically, we will hang around the living room, bonus room, or kitchen area. The care I provide will be extremely catered to your dog. I have been around dogs my whole life and am a big advocate for rescuing dogs. If I have the time, I would be happy to teach your dog some tricks as well. My husband and I have a rescue that is a 3 year old poodle bichon that loves other poodle and terrier type of dogs. She was very anxious and scared when we adopted her but has made so much progress. I work from home Mon & Fri and will be home for the weekends and can take your dog out regularly to go to the bathroom. This is the perfect situation for those that go on weekend trips. I love dogs and understand not every dog will be a fit for our home so I would prefer a meet and greet first. We enjoy walks and going to the dog park or beach. My rescue was a very traumatized dog when we got her but we spent a lot of time understanding her behaviors and nurturing her to trust us. I have taken dog training classes so I do understand a good amount of dog body language and respect dogs need their space. Only potty trained dogs and we will not accept dogs that mark their territory in our home. I also have experience with older dogs and giving medication. Our previous dog was on more than a handful of pills everyday. Our house has a few steps into the living room and a few steps into the backyard so we definitely are not a good fit for a dog with joint issues.
