Hello! My name is Christina and I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. I’ve owned both cats and dogs as well as parakeets, fish, a hamster and guinea pig! I’ve owned and trained both large and small dogs and am very comfortable with both sizes. I’ve had my own sweet pup, Chloe, for 7 years and she’s just amazing. I’ve had years of experience pet-sitting both dogs and cats for friends, neighbors, and family. I’m very patient with animals and love making them feel comfortable and happy. I know each animal is different and needs specific attention, which I’m happy to provide. For walks, I’m happy to go at a leisurely pace if that’s what they prefer but we can also jog if you have a pup that needs to burn a little more energy! (I’m even happy to do walks in the rain!) I have experience taking care of both senior dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens - so you’re beloved pets at any age are in wonderful hands. Finally, I LOVE taking pictures of animals, so I will happily send you as many photos of your pets as you want! (My profile has some photo examples of past clients ☺️)

I live in a ground unit with a fully fenced back yard. I will also always use a leash with your dog during walks unless you say otherwise. I’m very vigilant on walks and will make sure your dog doesn’t eat anything they shouldn’t and I always make sure the pavement isn’t too warm for paws. Your pets care and safety is my number one priority! If I’m visiting your pet in your home, I’ll follow every instruction you give and respect your space the whole time. I also double and triple check that your home is secured and door is locked when I leave.
Information Christina R. would like to know about your pet
For walks, I’d love to know if your dog is ok walking with other dogs (would they like my dog Chloe to come with them?) or prefer solo walks. Is there anything that spooks or triggers them? Please let me know of any dietary restrictions and/or if you’re ok with me giving them a couple treats during our time together. Please also let me know if they have any bite history - thank you! For check-in visits, I’ll follow whatever instructions requests you have! Do you like your dog to wait in “place” before going out or when first coming inside? We will do that. I never want to undo any good behaviors you’ve established with them ? And finally I’m always happy to coordinate a meet and greet prior to our first booking ❤️
A typical day
I live in the Irvington neighborhood which is great for walking and running! There’s a park and school nearby that are great for running and sniffing around. If you’re leaving your pet with me, we will absolutely spend plenty of time getting to know each other, playing, and/or relaxing together - whatever fits their mood and makes them comfortable.
