Experienced Vet Tech with 10years of clinical education and rescue success. I'm a certified Fear Free Professional and a member of the American Animal Hospital Association as well as International Association of Canine Professionals, and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I have studied Holistic Medicine and Holistic Nutrition while working at Holistic Veterinary Healing with the wonderful Dr Pema Mulla, Germantown Maryland. I have also had the great experience to gain experience interning at Mongomery County Human Society Rockville, Maryland learning Surgical Care and Shelter Medicine. I also pride myself in using pet and human-friendly chemical-free products in my home and in the kennel area, as well as in the yard. I compost most of the waste and have a company that comes weekly to remove the rest and treat it with organic products. I also, donate my time to Dogs on Deployment which is a wonderful program for Active-duty Miltary and their families. Helping them board their pets while deployed overseas for extended periods of time or under hardship. I also support K9s for Warriors and Canine Warriors, charities placing service dogs with our military veterans. I love all dogs! I currently run a small in-home pet sitting service. My philosophy is life is too short for your best friend to be left alone, for work, or while you are on vacation! Dogs have access to a fenced yard and a quiet space for rest. They are spoiled with treats and grooming services( additional cost) We offer daily walks and special care for our senior guests! We also offer in-home (yours) pet sitting for dogs that are not up to socializing with others. Grooming and Walking services are available as well! Your dog will thank you for it! We worked with Christina on a number of occasions for daytime and overnight care of our beagle. She was typically very responsive, and we were disappointed when she moved out of our area. While at Christina's, she sent us pictures of our beagle girl and it looked like she was very well cared for with lots of cushy places to nap. We had one incident at Christina's during which our dog needed medical care. We were very impressed with Christina's handling of the incident. On another occasion, our beagle slipped out the door of our home (to be clear, this was us -- not on Christina's watch). However, Christina lived around the corner from us and she was one of the first people I contacted to keep an eye out. But even better, she joined our search party! All in all, we were very pleased with the care and attention Christina gives her clients and we'd not hesitate to recommend her.
Christina helped us out at the last minute over Christmas and we are so grateful. Our dog had a fun time and the property is ideal for pet boarding. Christina is wonderful and will treat your pet like family. Communications were easy and efficient. Great find on Rover! Highly recommended boarding service! Thank you, Christina!
We LOVE Christina! She setup a meet and greet with us before our stay to ensure Roo (our 6 month old puppy) would get along with her pup and let us get a feel for what will be happening while we were away. She sent us lots of updates throughout Roo's stay including pictures. It was our first time leaving Roo for more than one night and I was a bit nervous about it, but felt very comfortable leaving our girl in such capable hands. We will definitely be going back to Christina for daycare, day camp, and overnight stays. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
