Will love your dog as my own.

Pet care experience

I have had a variety of different types of animals over the years. Parakeets, canaries, mice, hamsters, rats, cats and, of course, dogs. Currently I have a 3 dogs and an American Mini Pig. My first "job" was pet sitting for my neighbors when I was 10 years old. I was also a Vet Tech for about 10 years. In between that, I served in the Air Force as a Surgical Tech and when I got out, I applied that knowledge and became an official Veterinarian Surgical Tech. I have also been a pet sitter off and on for about 10 years now. Besides being a vet tech I have also been a volunteer with a few rescues, helped start a mini pig rescue, and have even worked at a petting zoo. You will see several different cats in my pictures. I used to foster special needs cats. Mostly cats with feline leukemia. I say all this just to explain the many different random cats in my photos. I currently don't have any cats in my house. I also included pictures of my house and backyard. I'm home all the time. So, I'm here and they have free access into the fenced in area that is about 3/4 acre. I have a TON of dog toys as well. Occasionally I have a doctors appointment but that's about it. All animals are separated when I'm not home. I have different rooms and also have 2 kennels if needed. All my animals are spayed/neutered and current on all vaccinations. It doesn't have an option for half days on daycare but I can definitely do that. A half day is 5 hours or less and would be $25. I also offer bundle packages for those who would like to be regulars. Full days: 5 Day Package-$135 10 Day Package-$255. 20 Day Package-$480. Half days: 5 Half Day Package-$113. 10 Day Package-$213. 20 Day Package-$400. Rates during all holidays will be higher. I will update all rate information as we get close to any holiday. First, every dog MUST have a collar with a name tag. My animals are fed 3 times a day. I will, of course, feed your animal how you feed them. I have plenty of dog bowls so you don't have to bring any. I live on an acre of land and my house is put back a little bit and then the rest of the land, about 3/4 acre, is fenced with animal proof fencing. Animal proof fencing is where they use a trencher to dig down about a foot into the ground. Then they insert tough wired mesh into the hole and about a foot of that comes out both sides and lays flat on the ground. Then they inserted a 7 foot tall fence and packed all the dirt back in and on top of the mesh. All of this was for my beagle, Abby, because she's an escape artist. But the fence has outwitted her. Lol So I KNOW your animals won't be able to get out. I have posted pictures of my house inside and out and pictures of my backyard where there are wide steps to go down and I also had to build a ramp for my pig. Because of where their eyes are, they can't see above or below them so stairs are pretty much impossible. But anything for my babies! Plus, my 3 dogs are getting older, 7 years old and up, so the ramp makes it easier for them as well. I have several different dog beds in a variety of sizes. I have 2 Cozy Cave beds for my pig (one in the living room and one in my bedroom) and he doesn't mind my pets getting on it too. It takes a bit for him to allow unfamiliar animals to cross his boundaries. But that passes pretty quickly. He has never displayed any type of aggression at all in his 8 years. Same with all my animals. They are all socialized to new people and animals. They will be curious at first but that fades quickly and the house becomes normal again. Amazingly calm actually. Lol I have a set schedule that provides a calmness to any dog that comes. Inside the house all animals are allowed to go everywhere, on all the furniture and I have a king size bed that they can lay on as well. I treat every animal who comes to me like my own.

There is no question of Christina’s love for animals. She is committed to providing the best care for both large and small animals. My dog Jolie has adored her from the start. I think your pets will too.

Christina is the best person I have ever known for managing pets. She dearly loves animals and is very knowledgeable in the care of pets especially dogs. A case in point I had to find a new home for my dog Suzy due to my health issues, she volunteered to find Suzy a new home, she used a very rigorous selection process. The end result was Christina found an excellent new home for Suzy. It eased some of the pain I had from having to let Suzy go.

My dog and I love Christina! Melly🐶 has plenty of room to run in Christina’s spacious yard and there are always plenty of friends to play with on her visits. When I drop Melly off I know that she will be safe and cared for.

I have 3/4 acre, animal proof fenced in backyard. They have free access to go outside anytime they need, or want to, go outside. My animals are fed 3 times a day. We have play time a few times a day. This varies depending on weather or how I'm feeling that day. But I have tons of toys and different ways to play with them. Playtime is a must and helps build, and keep that bond.

Information Christina N. would like to know about your pet

I would like to verify that the dog is friendly with other types of animals or at least is indifferent towards them. Since I have a pig that is indoor/outdoor, I need to make sure that he feels safe with the visiting dog. He ignores everyone for the most part, and is pretty tolerant. I mentioned earlier that I have been dog sitting off and on for many years. My pig is 8 years old and I have never had an issue with him and any dogs I have watched. I would want to do a meet and greet to see how your pet is with him. If it is going to be an issue, I will be able to keep them separated. Which is completely fine and easy for me to do. I just want to have everything in place before your dog comes to stay. I also will need to verify that your furbaby is up to date on your vaccinations and that they have been spayed/neutered.

A typical day

I have a huge backyard for them to play in and lots of toys I can use to play with them. My favorite is a doggy Nerf gun that shoots tennis balls! I also have slingshot squirrels and ducks. They will ALWAYS be supervised.

I am home 99% of the time. The dogs also have full access to the backyard all the time. They are constantly supervised and I spend time playing with them a few times a day. Snuggles are constant. Lol If I do have to leave the house, everyone is separated using different rooms and crates. I separate my own animals when I'm not there. You can never be too careful.
