Pet care experience
Open and honest communication is a must for me! If you've got a preference or idea, let's discuss it! I'm available most weekends, and my schedule during the week varies. I love early mornings, especially since that's a great time for the day to be nice and cool for dogs to enjoy being outside without getting too hot. If a dog is up for a run, then I am, too-- though a nice walk that's long or short, depending on the pup's needs is also a great way to enjoy the outdoors! When walking, I think it's so important to make sure dogs have the time and space to sniff to their heart's content. My dog has his favorite spots to check out, and I love when he finds new ones. If it's a long walk, I try to plan for a dog water fountain along our route, or to bring water if needed.

For instance, she purchases safety gear (e.g., swimming vest) to make sure he is always safe. Christina is also very professional. She will treat you and your furry friend with the utmost respect and ensure you, as the client, are comfortable. Finally, Christina is quite knowledgeable regarding proper dog care and training techniques. When I first got my dog, Christina was the first person I called. I was under prepared and I had no idea what I was doing. She accompanied me to the pet store to ensure I was buying the best food, safe toys, and necessary accessories. I am very protective of my dog who has severe allergy issue and I would not hesitate to have Christina watch or walk her.

A typical day
I did not grow up with dogs, but upon getting one with a friend, I quickly fell in love and have learned everything I can to be a loving human to my fur friend! I am so grateful to have friends who watch my pup as their own when I go out of town, and I thoroughly enjoy watching theirs! I love waking up early before my dog so we can catch a sunrise hike-- it's rare that I wake up before him, though! I treat animals (fur and non-fur) as I would want to be treated, which is with the utmost respect and care. I truly believe in positive reinforcement and setting up situations for success.
