Dogs love Camp Chrissy!
Pet care experience
I've had pets since I was very young, fostered to adopt for several years, Certified in first aid and CPR for pets and live within 5 minutes of a vet. I have a fenced yard, 4' chain link, but still go out with dogs. It only takes a second for something to happen and I watch closely, especially to make sure they are done with their business and if it's normal looking. I do work full-time most days but can come home at lunch on days I need to go in. I can crate your dog when I'm not home or asleep but if the dog is proven to be well behaved I don't mind giving it freedom inside. I can happily follow your rules and instructions. If not allowed on furniture and such, no problem. I prefer to do meet and greets at my home with you and your dog(s) before we decide to book the stay.
Reviews
I now refer to Rover trips as "Camp Christina"! She has wactch our dog for almost 2 yars and now we added a new puppy - she was SO good about calming my anxiety from leaving her and even better at loving my new little firecracker of a pup! She is truly FANTASTIC!!!
Christina was awesome! She kept us updated and was easy to work with. Our puppy had never stayed away from us but clearly had a great time and got some doggy socialization. We would highly recommend!
Always takes great care of Nora!
Christina did a great job with our 3 year old and 7 month border collie mixes. She answered all of our questions and listened to all of our concerns/ details about our babies. We will definitely use her services again in the future!

I will never let them outside without me. I always watch them closely or play with them. Sometimes we just sit on the covered patio.

Information Christina N. would like to know about your pet
Dogs must be treated for fleas, ticks and heartworm. I also live in an area prone to mosquitoes which spread heartworm. In my bio I ask that males be neutered since they tend to lift their leg on unfamiliar furniture. I will not be able to walk strong pullers. If you have a gentle leader or a way to keep the dog from pulling me too hard and the dog needs walks that's fine. I have a shoulder issue. I can play fetch for a short time or get them running and playing in my back yard. Most of the time they run and play with other dogs I'm watching. I can do slow intros for dogs that are slightly aggressive with other animals. I'm experienced with introductions since I fostered several dogs at once from different places and circumstances. I can also keep them separate but that might involve a crate and trading off times spent in or out with other dogs. I have no bias towards any breeds but am allergic to Pinchers large and small. I do have 4 cats. One of them is ultra dog-friendly, the others tend to be shy. None of them are aggressive. They have their own room in case your dog doesn't like cats.
A typical day
I do not run, but I can take walks around my quiet neighborhood or I can play fetch or other games they like. I provide them with the same love I have my own dogs and fosters. Daily brushing, cuddles, specific treats for special reasons... all good.

I take breaks with dogs that stay here and sometimes we might take a quick walk around the block if it's not too hot. If they bring me a toy while I'm working I welcome the distraction. My desk is near the back door. We can watch critters and birds and I know quickly if they need out. Small dogs go out more often.
