Pet care experience
I'm a geek in every way including in how I love to interact with pets. I am trained in animal CPR and volunteer at the local SPCA. I'm a creative thinker and former consultant who uses the same thinking to help animals be safe and happy. I am at ease with puppies, and I am comfortable with senior dogs as well since I have raised several. I tend to all ages when I volunteer. While I don't have a cat, I'm also comfortable with them as well from volunteering at the shelter as they need attention and playtime too. I also have experience with exotic animals from raising some for the zoo in college.

My consulting experience gave me the tools to think quickly so I can make pets happy. As a firm believer in taking care of the whole pet, it means that not only do they get walks and regular needs met, but also nurturing playtime. I do it through games or simply reading to them if that is more their style. I understand there's lots of different personalities of pets, and I love them all.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors (i.e. arthritis, allergies, reactive, resource-guarding, anxiety, etc.) or anything I should be aware of. This helps me know how to approach them better. I want the interactions with me and her pet to be as positive as possible, so anything we can do to make it successful will make it happier and safer for everyone.
A typical day
I am a believer in taking care of dog from a "whole pet" perspective so their emotional, mental, and health needs are met since they deserve loving, compassionate care. We will walk, play interactive games, and explore!

I have a remote work arrangement, so all I need is a little notice and your four-pawed family members will be my priority. I have a dog of my own, so I understand the need to give lots of attention and will make them feel as they are my own.
