You would be hard press to find someone who loves dogs more than me! I have taken care of dogs every day since I was 8. Life would just be so dull and lonely without a dog in it to love and care for! My two current dogs, Fiona (13 yo chihuahua, rescued when she was 2) and Teddy (2 yo chihuahua, rescued at 1) are truly like my children and are very friendly with other dogs. **Please note for any BOARDING requests: Your dog must be good with other small dogs to be boarded in my house. If your dog is extremely high energy then our home may not be the best fit because my dogs are very low energy/chill and Fiona (14) might get a little annoyed. But I am always happy to do a meet & greet to test in that case** My husband and I are huge dog lovers and our favorite time of the day is when we get to spend snuggling with our dogs on the couch. Your dog will be pampered and cared for just like they were one of my own. After using other dog sitters myself, I know it can be a little nerve-racking to try out a new sitter. But I am happy to do a meet a greet and let you see where your baby will be staying while you are away. Your dog will be allowed on our furniture and can sleep in bed with us if that is what they are used to (and they share the bed well with all 4 of us) I am also home full time and I can provide as many walks as they need, provide medicine, and I can also work on training if you would like. I will send as many updates and pictures as you want (I love getting them for my dogs). I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

Your dog's safety and well-being will always be my top priority. We have a fenced-in yard with a small doggy door that my dogs use, but if your dog prefers walks I am happy to do so and we can both get some exercise. If your dog prefers to use puppy pads, we also have a puppy pad station set up for our one dog, Teddy, who doesn't like going outside when it is too cold (or raining, or slightly breezy, or there are too many leaves falling...he is sensitive lol). No matter your dog's needs, I can meet them!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I need to account for. I am very flexible and understanding with all kinds of dogs. I have cared for numerous rescue dogs and I am very used to working with skittish or shy dogs. If your dog is very high energy then our home might not be the best fit because Fiona is 13 years old and can get a little grumpy with extremely high-energy dogs.
A typical day
Your dog will never be without love and attention in my care. We will spend all day together playing, getting lots of belly rubs and kisses, and we can go on solo walks around the neighborhood if that is what they prefer (my dogs don't really like to go on walks so I would just take your dog out). We can also get plenty of indoor playtime in with toys and balls that I like to throw down our very long hallways.

Availability
I have a very flexible work-from-home schedule that will allow me to spend all day with your pup! I currently manage and design Airbnb properties so I am home all day with my own dogs and only occasionally leave to workout or run errands for an hour or two at max. So your dog will never be lonely in this household! I spend all day with my dogs and take regular play and potty breaks.
