Pet care experience
Animals hold a special place in my heart. With 15+ years of pet care experience, you can count on me to ensure the safety and well-being of your beloved pet. I grew up with both cats and dogs. I helped care for 3 dogs with behavioral issues including barking, urinary incontinence, anxiety, and outdoor aggression towards strangers. I am patient and willing to work with less sociable dogs that are not easily trained to help them gradually improve their behaviors. In total I have 14 years personal experience with dogs. Additionally, I have a lot of experience working with cats. I have fostered and domesticated feral cats, TNR, care for local strays, and rescued 10 abandoned/lost pet cats. I have experience with diabetic cats, and severely allergic cats that require daily and weekly injections. I also have experience with senior cats and cats with GI issues that require oral medication. In total I have 16 years personal experience with cats and 4 years foster experience.

Christina was an absolute pleasure, and our boys loved her! It's always a little scary leaving your dogs with someone new, but Christina made it so easy for us! She stayed in our home with our golden retriever and boxer, and it was clear they were treated with such love and care. They were sad to say goodbye when we came home! It was also a plus that we received constant updates and pictures throughout our trip. We will definitely be hiring Christina again, and we would recommend her to anyone else looking for a trusting and caring sitter :)

Keeping your pet safe is my first priority. I consistently follow necessary protocol such as checking fence gates before letting your dog outside, locking doors, making sure I don’t step outside without a key, and doing a final check that things are in order before leaving your home. I am reliable, a good communicator and will always make sure your pets are cared for as well as my own. My preference is to leave your home in a better condition than when I found it.

Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs, and whether or not they are friendly with other dogs or children. Help me to understand if they are occasionally erratic or have aggressive tendencies, as well as their level of training which includes being potty trained. If your dog is prone to pulling the leash or running when they see other animals, please let me know about that. Any important information about your pet's behavior, positive or negative, is very much welcome and appreciated.
A typical day
Let's take a stroll around your neighborhood and/or play fetch in the park…having space to run around is always a plus. I enjoy finding ways to make sure your dog gets a healthy amount of exercise and feels well taken care of.

I'm a full time graduate student studying acupuncture and herbal medicine in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. I have daytime availability Monday- Wednesday, late night availability Thursday - Friday and open availability Saturday-Sunday.
