Experienced loving pet care

Pet care experience

After a lifetime of caring for my own animals, working for veterinarians, and becoming a certified dog trainer, I have decided to take the leap and offer boarding as well. I currently work exclusively from home and our different schedules mean that even if I have to run an errand, your baby will not be unsupervised. Our 26-pound mixed-breed dog Daisy is very sweet, playful, and loves other dogs. The house is not very big, but the yard is good-sized and has a six-foot privacy fence. Your baby will not be outside unsupervised at any time for safety reasons and any introduction to my dog will be based on how comfortable both of them are. I am able to keep them separate if necessary. Dogs will be fed separately to avoid any danger of food aggression. Small dogs are allowed on the furniture, but please let me know if your dog is not completely house-trained so I can take extra care to avoid accidents. Some basic training is available for an additional fee. I am able to care for senior pets and puppies as well as administer medications. If you have a cat you need me to look in on rest assured that I love cats and will do everything I can to help your baby feel comfortable. I also have experience with small animals, including mice, hamsters, rats, gerbils, and parakeets so let me know if you have needs there.

When Christina let me know that she needed a testimonial for a pet caregiver opportunity, I was pretty sure that I didn't know anyone better for the job!!! She has been an animal lover all the years I've known her! ( I've known Christina for over 18 years) She is over the top on her love, ambition and care for animals, and I admire that. Christina and I were co-workers for a couple of years and she was a neighbor of mine at the time. Although Christina has never cared for one of our pets, her willingness to do so was always there. If it were needed I would have certainly called on her. I know her well and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for this opportunity. I'm sure you will love her and notice her love for pets immediately.

My animals are my babies and if you ask me to check in on yours I will assume that you love your pets as much as I do mine. I'm open to taking care of your babies in the way that you feel comfortable, whether that be a walk or a special treat, playtime or whatever you need. Please give me as much information as you can about your and your baby's preferences!

Information Christina L. would like to know about your pet

If your baby has special needs medically, or if you know they have preferences regarding their food, water, playtime, nap time, or the way they interact with people or other animals, please let me know. I enjoy getting to know any animal, but the more you tell me ahead of time, the easier the transition could be.

A typical day

It's very important to me, to make sure that any animal in my care feels comfortable to be themselves and experiences the least amount of stress possible. Whether doing drop-in visits or walking your pet, I'll do my best to get to know your baby and interact with them in a way that they enjoy, whether that's playing, petting, or just being there with them, any personality is welcome, even the feisty ones!
