I prefer a phone call or written instructions to better understand the routine you have in place and to make sure I know where everything is located. Especially for house sitting or daily visits. I would like to know if the dog(s) require any special needs or accommodations- food, medicine, etc. I would also ask about their energy level, age, and breed to determine how much exercise they will need and how frequently they will need to be let out.
A typical day
Depending on the usual routine and what is best preferred for you and your dog, I can take a familiar route around the block, let them run in the yard, or change it up every time. I would play with them and make sure they get the physical activity they need.

I currently work part-time so have a wide availability within my schedule. When I am at work I am able to do check ins during my breaks and usually work less than 8 hours in a day.
