My husband and I have cared for dogs for a combined total of 30 years. We are passionate for our four-legged family members, active members of the rescue community and recently became fosters to a local rescue organization. We have a resident pup (13-year-old JRT/beagle mix) and cat (8-year-old Manx) and both receive the same amount of TLC and dedication as our 14-year-old daughter. As fosters for Secondhand Hounds, we've had the opportunity to work with dogs of varying personalities. We've cared for dogs with anxiety, nervousness and nursed one of our favorites back to health after a lengthy surgery. We have experience giving oral medications, and can administer injections of medicine. Families can rest assured that any pup that enters our home is given the royal treatment, loads of love and lots of TLC.
