Large Fenced In Backyard!

Pet care experience

My name is Christina and I'm 46 years old and a non smoker. I'm currently working full time in the healthcare industry in Quality/Compliance. I am a huge animal lover and it's what I'm most passionate about. I have 2 cats of my own, Affi and Ella Blue and I just lost my beloved dog, Sinba, this past fall to kidney disease. I am looking to break into the pet care arena as a side job, as it's truly where my passion lies. I have had a lot of experience over the years walking dogs and pet sitting for friends and relative's. I am a home owner with a very spacious, fenced in backyard, which is ideal for dogs to enjoy. I have also volunteered at various animal shelters throughout the years and have had exposure to both dogs and cats volunteering. Walking the dogs, cleaning kennels, socializing. I love my fur babies like they are my children so I understand deeply how important it is that pet owners have peace of mind and reassurance when their babies are in another's care. I am very detailed oriented and am extremely selective on who takes care of babies and I desire to bring that same, thoroughness and detail to what I would expect with my own.

This was my first experience using Rover and Christina made it so easy. She answered all of my (many) questions and she responded right away when I contacted her. She let me come by before the dogs stay to see how they did at her house and she was very easy to talk to. Her backyard has a privacy fence and

Christine is a great lady and I could tell from the get-go that she really cares about animals. I knew George would be taken very good care of. I got updates and pics regularly as well. When I picked George up he was happy and playful so I knew he had enjoyed his visit. I will definitely use Christine again!

Christina was wonderful! She was very good at communicating, took lots of pictures to send to us while she was watching Maggie Mae, and was overall a perfect fit! She took great care of our dog! We will be using her again!

What are their triggers? What don't they like? Do they have any aggressive tendencies? With children or other dogs/cats? What do they LOVE/ENJOY? Are they spayed/neutered? Do they require medications either orally or with a syringe?

A typical day

I have a very spacious, fenced in backyard that dogs love to run and play in! I love to exercise and take dogs on walks. I also run so if your dog likes to run and get a lot of exercise, I am happy to run with them as well. I am a very affectionate person and love to show dog affection. I am also very well versed in dogs that are timid/shy or have trust issues with humans. My boy, Sinba, was like this when he was first rescued (or when he rescued me) The neighbors across the street moved and left him in the backyard. He was left outside in the backyard 24/7 and had very little human interaction and when he was was shown attention, it was negative or abuse. When I first took him in, we wouldn't let anyone pet him, he would shake and have extreme anxiety if you attempted to put a leash on him and he would cower in a corner and shake when I brought him in my house initially. Through many months of patience, constant love and persistence, he transformed into a playful, energetic, and affectionate dog. Every dog deserves to know unconditional love...as that is always what they show us humans. ALWAYS! I HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE GIVING MEDICATIONS TO DOGS, EITHER VIA A SYRINGE THROUGH INJECTION OR ADMINISTERING FLUIDS.
