Pet care experience
I am a fun and compassionate animal lover- of all shapes & sizes, treating every single one as my own. I'm known for dedicating my life to these little beings, and have 10 years experience working directly with dogs and cats, in a career that has rewarded me with such beautiful friendships with our four legged friends! In those years I have worked in two professional dog walking, day care, and boarding businesses in New York City, as well as privately walking and boarding dogs in my own home. For three of those years I worked for two of the largest animal welfare organizations in the country. I have experience as the Foster Coordinator for Best Friends Animal Society in NYC, managing all care for over 100 animals! Prior to that, I worked for the ASPCA as a Community Advocate, working directly with low income folks and their pets, providing them with medical and behavioral resources, and so much more! Nowadays I am a Lifestyle Coach, Yoga + Meditation Teacher, and Wellness Advocate, which means I work completely remote. More time for your fur baby!

I will work with you to make sure all needs are met during our time together. When we meet, I would love to get a good understanding of who your pet is and what you want for your furry companion. Some things I'd like to know before caring for your pet: - If they have an allergies - are they on any meds - diet (if I will be feeding them) - likes and dislikes (treats, toys, handling, etc) - Any commands/hand signals they may know to help us communicate together - temperament with people and other animals - their local vet + emergency vet
A typical day
Dog Walks are often the highlight of a dog's life and I want to make sure it's the best experience for them. Your dog and I will explore the neighborhood together - checking out all the sights and sounds. Perhaps stopping by the local park. Returning back from our walk lots of belly rubs and head scratches will definitely be included! Have a cat? The options are endless of what we can do but we will certainly get all the playing their heart desires and will end with a good petting session :-) Sleepover? Take solace in knowing your dog or cat will be in a home with a family that adores animals. Cuddles on the couch? Sure! Lots of play time? Absolutely! We even have a fenced in backyard for your dog to enjoy some running around off leash. My home is their home, so I'll do whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable and safe in my care.
