Christina has done in home dog sitting for me several times. She is great with my two dogs, and I know they are cared for while I am away. I love the picture updates too! My dogs have some quirks. One is very fearful and takes a long time to warm up to strangers; however, Christina took the time to get to know her and bonded with her right away. The other dog can be quite stubborn and has a bit of an attitude. Christina can handle his sassiness and reinforce the rules of my home which is very important to me. She listens carefully to ensure that when she is with your dogs their routine stays the same and it's like you never left! Overall, I have an excellent experience using Christina as a sitter, and I plan to continue using her services in the future.

Christina is a dedicated animal lover through and through. Whether it’s training her own rescue mutts, volunteering at vet clinics, on safari through wildlife sanctuaries in Africa, or visiting the Houston Zoo, Christina cannot get enough of furry faces, bushy tails, and wet noses. Christina has been a trustworthy doggie caretaker most all of her life. She has cared for all sizes and types of dog personalities including her own Chihuahuas and terriers, the hyper Australian Shepherds of friends, large goofy mutts, a neighbor Schnoodle, powerful German Shepherds, and fostered for shelters and rescues. Christina loved every one and would do anything for these dogs. I was there the day she walked an unruly, squirrel obsessed Irish Setter while carrying a hefty Yorkie in one arm for half a mile after he decided he was done walking and laid on the sidewalk refusing to move. That kind of athleticism means Christina can keep up with active pups that need to stretch their legs on regular runs or walks. With veterinary experience, I am very comfortable leaving my dogs with Christina knowing that she will be able to care for their needs in any situation. She is very attentive and caring, always quick to spot uncharacteristic behavior - even if it’s just a leaf stuck between their toe beans! She is adept at training and as a result, we now have two polite terriers that sit and wait patiently for the command before eating. Christina’s lifelong love of dogs has given her the experience to be an excellent companion, caretaker, and friend for your pet!
