Hi there! I've been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with dogs, and tend to feel like a house isn't my home unless I have a furry companion in it! That's why my husband and I decided to adopt a dog of our own, Stella, to complete our little family. I recently started grad school at Georgia Tech, so my availability opened up to be able to hang out with more dogs through Rover, which is a dream come true for this dog-lover! We live in an apartment with a small dog park, but mostly get exercise from long walks, hikes in local woods/parks, or playing fetch in whatever field we can find. Having a high-energy border collie means we are constantly looking for new ways to engage our dog's mind and spirit, and has inspired us to get better at dog training using positive reinforcement methods- ask Stella to show off all her talents when we meet! I am also experienced with shy and anxious dogs, and have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to make a nervous dog feel comfortable with me. This dog mama knows how hard it can be to leave your baby to a new person, so I would happily send lots of pictures and updates during your stay! We would welcome your pup as a member of our family.
