I am a happy dog walker in San Diego. I have over three years' experience as a long-term live-in dog and housesitter to a husky-chow and a german shepherd although, my personal favorite breeds are poodles and pyrenees :) I've travelled extensively volunteering for a non-profit animal rights organization. I'm a yoga teacher and marathon runner so I'd be more than happy to run or walk with your dog in the park, around the neighborhood, or on trails. I currently live in an apartment so I'm not allowed to have a dog :( although I'd love to meet and hang out with yours! I can sit overnight only Saturday nights (at your home) but I can walk/play with your dogs any day of the week! Looking forward to meeting you and your dog :)

Pete had such a great time!
When I went away for a month back in 2013, Christina stayed in my home to take care of my seven beloved cats. My cats are my heart. I can only leave them with someone who is gentle, intuitive, attentive, loving, and responsible. There were no mishaps while I was gone. Christina stayed in contact with me very regularly to reassure me that the cats were safe and well. (Regular contact is very important to me in my cat-sitters.) The cats--a few of whom were skittish--felt comfortable around her almost the first time they met because of how gently and sensitively she moved around them. (I can't bear for them to be scared and hiding under the bed because someone new is in the house.) As for house-sitting, Christina left my house cleaner than I left it! I highly recommend this lovely heart and soul. You and your furry companions with love her!
Christina did such a wonderful job with Elvis! He is a young, high-energy dog and was pooped when he got home from his walk (a raririty for him). She went above and beyond by arriving early to play and sent me plenty of great updates about their time together. It's always awesome to have someone invest real time and interest in your pup and Christina definitely proved to do so, even offering to extend his walk time! Following the end of their walk, she even followed up with me through text and brought in the package that was on the porch. She went above and beyond my expectations and I couldn't have imagined a better experience!
Christina was fantastic. I had a scheduled walker who had worked with me and my dog, Piper, for months that had to stop because of health issues, so Christina filled in. I forgot she was coming and I had to put my baby down for his nap, so I gave Christina instructions on how to get Piper ready and where she was located and she figured it out, no problem. Piper is a rescue from an EXTREMELY abusive situation, so I was worried she wouldn't react well to a new person and would resist going on the walk with her, as she has done in the past, however Piper had no problems with Christina and they had a great time, together. I'd definitely recommend Christina to anyone.
