Christina is the most thorough dog sitter that I've ever used (and I've booked quite a few thru this site). She takes time to properly introduce the dogs to one another, which is an important step that others rarely do. She also spent time discussing with me her schedule with the dogs (they do alot) and my dog and his characteristics. During Beau's stay I received pictures and videos, which are always highly appreciated. Christina ...

This was our first time using Christina. Before we hired Christina, she visited our house to meet us and our 3 dogs. The dogs quickly bonded with her during that visit. During our overnight trip, we had Christina stop by to feed the dogs and let them out in the yard to play and take care of business. She also sent us texts and pictures keeping us up to date. It was a great experience ...

This was our first experience with Rover.com, and it was amazing!! We needed a sitter for Drama, the "Dog of Honor" at our son and brand-new Daughter-In-Law's wedding.... for some reason, Drama was allowed to go to the ceremony, but wasn't invited to the reception!! :-) We booked Christina based on her reviews, and from the first communication, we knew we had made an excellent choice! Christina was extremely thorough and knew all the right ...

What Christina would like to know about your dog

I try to get as much important information about your pup as I can so that I can take good care of them as their owner would.
Any special needs, fears, likes/dislikes, commands, their routine?
What's allowed/not allowed?
Any issues or things that you need to let me know that I haven't touched on above?

Your baby will be very well taken care of with us. We are extremely attentive, we supervise them all day long. We will be on the first floor with them the entire day. At night they can sleep on the couch with our dogs. If you would prefer to crate them at night then a crate will be next to my dog's beds. We are at the top of the staircase in our bedroom with the door open listen to everything until they finally settle in for the night.

We are up bright and early every day at the same time ready to greet them with a smile in the morning. We follow a fairly scheduled routine and we pay attention to what they may be trying to express throughout the day ie I need to go for a walk before I have an accident, Im ready for bed, I want to be petted, etc.

As for house rules:
Rule #1 Peeing and pooping must be done outside and not on the rug or furniture.
Rule #2 If your Mommy doesn't allow it in your house, its not allowed here.
Rule #3 Everyone must get along. No bullying allowed by anyone.
Rule #4 Everyone must stick to their own bowl.
Rule #5 When its bedtime, its bedtime--no if's, and's or but's.
Rule #6 Do unto others as you would want to have done to you.
Rule #7 Barking must be kept to a minimum for everyone's sake including the neighbors.

When Christina watches your pet

Your babies will be walked on your schedule. They will be walked around our block or around the perimeter of our community baseball field.

No guest pup(s) nor pups of mine go unsupervised. I want to know what they are doing all the time. This is to avoid them getting into some sort of trouble and to socialize and keep them entertained.

There is nap time during the day where everyone rests in the family room after playtime. We are very involved with them during the entire day. We play fetch, wrestle, give tons of hugs and kisses, pet them, morning massages, keep them clean, and attempt to teach them a trick or two.

I am very involved with your dog during their stay. We have other games we play aside from fetch. We put out fresh blankets for them to sit/sleep on. During the summer the air conditioning is on for them. We go out for a lot of walks.

We talk to them using the words they have been taught for better communication/understanding of one another. They are all shown affection and positive rewards either by voice, hand or treats. If they don't understand a request or command we try again until they "get" what it is that we are asking them to do. We are very patient. We run on a schedule so they get a feel for what will happen next during the course of the day.
