My love, is your dogs love.

Pet care experience

I am very much one of those, "Hey! Look at that dog ten miles away, I MUST PET IT!" , types of people. I currently own two big babies. Both are rescues. Both come from very unfortunate, abusive backgrounds but I take pride in how I have rehabilitated them on my own and given them the life a king and queen deserve. I helped out with a family who bred Great Danes growing up, back in Florida. This entailed playtime, house cleaning (the puppies literally had their own house on the property which i helped the trainer keep clean) I was partnered with a professional dog trainer for a few years and helped with general tasks such as sitting, shaking, staying and heeling when walking. Recently alot of friends have been going on trips and recruited me to watch their four legged children, so I thought, why not offer my knowledge and love to others?! As my civilian job, I bartend and do photography in the burlesque community, so I have alot of human references if any questions about my person.

Beware of this Sitter During this sitter’s drop in visit on my dog, I got a notification from my nest cam (baby monitor) in my bedroom. The video shows this sitter enter my bedroom, reach onto my dresser (where I have jewelry and money), then she sees the camera mounted on the wall and walks out of the bedroom. I was shocked! I immediately cancelled my next drop in with her and contacted Rover’s Trust and Safety Dept. There’s no reason the sitter should have been in my bedroom (which was blocked off by a gate). I do not trust this sitter. How many other Rover customers has she done this to? Luckily I had a camera in my bedroom but I assume most people don’t. I hope she doesn’t do this to any one else and Rover should remove her from their sitter database. After submitting a complaint with Rover, I was surprised to find out that there’s no code of conduct for the sitters which means there’s no protection for us as customers and no repercussions for sitters who act dishonestly such as enter a room unrelated to their dog care duties. I’m very disappointed with how Rover handled this situation and I won’t be using Rover again. If you choose this sitter, I wish you the best of luck and I recommend locking up your valuables...
