Since childhood I have had a special ability connecting with and understanding animals, which has continued into my adulthood. I have worked at daycares, grooming salons, and veterinary clinics where I have nurtured my skills at reading body language and understanding canine psychology. Living with my own dogs, cats, & bunnies has furthered my education as I have lived with and gotten to know them. By far my favorite career has been petsitting. Here I truly get to enjoy my time with the animals and have fun getting to know them. I am knowledgeable in dog psychology, I am capable of giving medication, following routines & care instructions, and keeping your kiddos calm, safe, & happy while you are away from home.

Cristina is the one you want taking care of your fur babies! She has a great big yard full of toys and room to run & play. Her home is clean and well organized for your pups to have a fun & safe time. Thoughtful and skilled for taking care of pups with a true passion for their wellbeing. Especially perfect for those higher energy pups that need more interaction than other pups. My 2 pups and the best few days with Christina running and playing and even a puppy pool day. She sent me pics & vids everyday. If she’s not that close to you, she’s worth drive!

My services are provided in your home to help keep your pet as calm and safe as possible. At our Meet-n-Greet we will discuss your pet’s routines and how to attempt to keep them as close to normal as possible. This way they are in familiar surroundings and familiar routines in-order to attempt to keep stress levels at a minimum. My goal is to keep them as calm, happy, and safe as possible while their family is traveling.

Important or helpful information for me to know ahead of time would be any specific personality characteristics of that individual. For example, my cat Gage does not like it when I pet his back half and will warn me by putting his teeth on me. And of course general care instructions like how much food, how many times a day, medications, bedtime routine, etc.
A typical day
I enjoy being active with the dogs & cats in the capacity that makes them feel most comfortable. Meaning if I am caring for a young pup who loves for me to fill up his kiddie pool let’s do it, but if we have the elderly cat who just loves for me to read a book in the room he’s in I can do that too. It’s whatever is enjoyable & enriching for that individual, and of course what the pet parents instructs for me to do with their family member.

Availability
I am available seven days a week to come to your home to care for your loved ones. I have the availability to be able to stay the night in your home to ensure they are safe or need anything in the middle of the night. When you reach out to me, we can schedule a Meet-n-Greet so you can meet me in person and I can meet your sweet fur-babies, and we can discuss schedules and what best fits your family’s needs.
