At my house, we love to play outside in the doggie pool/sprinkler, take walks, play catch and even take naps! We have a dog park that is very close by and with the fur mom's and dad's permission, we can definitely take a field trip! I'm pay very close attention to what the pups are playing with/eating, for their safety. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained as that helps make them feel more comfortable when they're in a new place, however it is not a requirement. I do have a Rottweiler, his name is Thor and he is a year old. He is big, but he is gentle and very sweet. He also runs and hides from my moms dog (doesn't live with us), who is a 15lb Yorkie. He loves to play with other dogs and he is very well trained. I have grown up around all types of dogs and I have always had the best experiences with them. Consistently, I've been around Rottweilers since I was born. They're big, protective, loyal and sweet. But they're also very strong willed. Growing up around these dogs, it is very important to remain stern and the alpha without being harsh and loosing their trust. I have learned how productively balance those two sides. This skill allows dogs to feel comfortable enough to relax, play and listen.
