Yes, I'm Christina's mom, so I really shouldn't be a reference for her. Then again, who knows her better? Christina has loved dogs since she was just a few months old. We have always had at least one dog, but at one point we had three because of her. In addition to the various dogs we've had over the years, as a child, her room was quite literally filled with stuffed animals and beanie babies of dogs. She is in heaven when her dog is on her lap snuggling with her, she is playing Frisbee with him in the backyard, or she takes him to the beach for a long walk. Sometimes, she just gazes into his eyes, which practically roll back into his head as she scratches him behind his ears or rubs his tummy. Of course, he sleeps in her room with her, too. When she's been away, she's probably missed him more than anyone else. The feeling is mutual. When she's away, he sits by the window looking for her until she returns. Then he's the happiest dog in the world. When she was in high school, she was an excellent basketball player, but she was an unselfish player, and her dad wanted to motivate her to score more points, so he told her he'd get her a puppy if she ever scored 35 points in one game. And she did! I'm a dog lover myself, and I've known a lot of dog lovers in my life, but I honestly don't know anyone who loves dogs more than Christina.
