I've grown up with German Shepherds, and my dog-sitting career began with my first "job": as a 12-year-old, I hand-wrote a letter to my neighbor asking if I could walk her dog during the week while she was at work. In 2012, I moved to Boston for college (Northeastern!) and graduated this past May. Last year, I began dog-sitting via Rover. As you can see from my reviews, I make sure to be communicative, open and honest as I understand how important trust is when leaving the furriest member of your family with a new person. I've learned a TON about dogs and dog-sitting from this experience, and I pride myself on this little side-business. I currently live in an apartment in a relatively busy part of town and work full-time. My current home best suits dogs that don't bark or get frightened by the sound of people moving through the hallways, and who don't need a ton of exercise. I have one other roommate who is also very experienced with dogs.
