Pet care experience
I’m probably wondering what your dog is doing right now… I love all the sweeties I watch as if they are my own. I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all ages, shapes and size for over 6 years before joining Rover. I had a Sheltie mix growing up, but currently don’t have pets since I dedicate most of my time to loving everyone else’s animals. I have experience with senior and special needs dogs, and am great at administering medications. I’ve also watched puppies and been up all night with them to help with training. I enjoy pro-level cuddles, and can’t wait to meet and befriend your fur baby!

I am currently unable to board pets in my home, but regularly sit overnight at my client’s homes for various amounts of time. I take this responsibility very seriously, and work hard to keep the fur babies happy and comfortable while ensuring the house is secure and clean. One of my goals for sitting that I’m successful with is to make it appear as if I was never even there.
Information Christie W. would like to know about your pet
As long as I know where all of the dog’s things are, and get a feel for their routine I think we’ll be fine! Of course it will also be helpful to be aware of any behaviors or needs that require extra attention.
A typical day
I think the most important thing I do is to just give 100% of my attention to the pets I watch and provide a ton of cuddles and scratches! If there are toys around we will for sure play fetch and tug. On walks it’s really fun to explore the neighborhood and stop to sniff and poke around along the way.

My calendar is up to date for sitting, walks and drop-ins, since nowadays my main gig is pet care. I usually stay local as well and don’t travel often, so my availability is good.
