Pet care experience
Right in the West End/Beacon Hill area! I’ll care for your small, shy, or senior pup while you’re away (your cat too). Need someone to stay with your dog the whole time? I have the time and patience to offer constant care for a higher rate. My dog has separation anxiety so I know your pain — let's talk more! I'm a toy/small dog owner of 20+ years and current owner of a Yorkshire Terrier. My other experiences include senior dog care and drop-in cat visits. I love animals and giving them extra attention and ❤️ **Can take dogs up to 20 pounds** With only two adult humans and a small dog, our clean, sunny apartment is a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Our home features floor to ceiling windows — perfect for sunbathing. Amenities like central AC, smart air purifier with HEPA filter, and a humidifier create a comfortable environment. We also provide a waterproofed pet bed with a down pillow insert and ceramic guest bowls that are washed daily. So message me for your custom quote! Note that when requesting a booking, the initial estimate shown is a base rate. Your final quote from me may be higher. This will reflect the personalized care that I can provide for your pet's unique needs.
Reviews
Christie was wonderful! Great communication and gave Lawrence lots of love/attention!
Christie has been my go-to catsitter since 2012. Over the last decade, Christie has consistently proven to be punctual, communicative, mindful of hygiene and cleanliness, respectful of household rules & owner special requests, and most importantly attentive to my pet's needs. Our most recent visit was no different. Side note: my kitty Snickerdoodle is fairly standoffish and easily scared by anyone who isn't me; Christie is the ONE other person who can successfully pick her up and hold her without there being an immediate struggle. That's how good she is. I know I can always trust Christie to do what's best for my furbaby 100% of the time (and to send me cute photos of their time together, along the way). If you're looking for peace of mind and a sitter who takes your pet's needs seriously, I highly recommend booking with Christie!
Christie has been a lifelong pet caregiver. She is very dedicated to providing for pets’ emotional and physical well-being, and treats all pets like they are her own. Christie is also dependable and personable. I would highly recommend her services!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is very important to me. For walks and drop-in visits, I wear a mask while inside your home and use hand sanitizer. For all services, your dog is never off leash or tied up outside. NEXT STEPS: We’ll do a FREE Meet & Greet (virtual or in-person) for a first-time booking. Need multi-day day care or boarding services? We’ll meet in-person first with my Yorkie. This will happen at Boston Common or another public location. Upon your request I can share interior photos or do a virtual tour of our place.

Information Christie T. would like to know about your pet
Any allergies or medical conditions? How do they like to spend their day? For day care or boarding: does your dog have separation anxiety? If so, how long can they be left alone? Please note that our home cannot meet the needs of dogs that cry or bark excessively, have a history of biting or aggression, or engage in destructive behaviors (chewing, scratching, etc).
A typical day
During the day, both my dog and yours have free roam of the apartment while I keep an eye on them. At night, your dog will sleep in our room with us. We have extra bedding and bowls — just pack some food, toys, and treats (plus walking gear)! For the times that I step out, your dog will be crated up to 4 hours for safety. Daily activities include naps, play time, down time, multiple potty breaks, and one walk in good weather. We might visit the Esplanade, Beacon Hill/Back Bay, or Boston Common. After potty and walks, dogs are cleaned with unscented pet wipes. Request a booking today and let me know what your pet needs :)

DAY CARE & BOARDING: When hosting, I only take on one dog at a time. I make every guest stay as stress-free and welcoming as possible. Every dog gets lots of attention and cuddles from me as I WFH. Is your pup introverted? My 12 year old dog is more than happy to let yours chill in peace. Operating hours for services are 9am-6pm, with daycare being 8 hours. Need different hours or weekend daycare? We can do a modified service. For the last day of boarding, I might charge up to my full nightly rate depending on the pick-up time. You’ll get either a Rover card or 2+ photo updates a day during day care or boarding. You'll also get a summary by the end of the day. DROP-IN VISITS: I'll be there to play with your pets, feed/water them, and give you an update on how they're doing. Cats will have their boxes cleaned. Dogs will also get a potty break. Be sure to add a profile for each pet needing care so I can know who's who. WALKS: Your dog and I will go around and explore your neighborhood for exercise and mental stimulation. Have their walking gear close to the front door so we can spend less time getting ready and more time out and about. Depending on weather conditions we may come back earlier, but I'll spend the remaining time caring for your pup.
