Your dog’s home away from home!

Pet care experience

I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 9 years old. My first job was walking a malamute daily that was 150 pounds of love 🥰. I have cared for many dogs since then and my family loves dogs just as much as I do. My husband and I both grew up with extra large dogs (Danes, St. Bernards, etc) and small dogs (Mini Schnauzers, Maltipoos etc). We have 2 dogs of our own that are family members.

Our sweet boy was well cared for by Christie. She gave him his medication with no issues and made sure to update us daily. We will definitely be using Christie again.

Christie was wonderful! Our dog Mozart immediately felt comfortable at their home and enjoyed his stay. We felt confident in the care Christie and her family provided for our dog while we were out of town and will definitely use them again for our next trip!

I have a fully fenced yard with 6 foot fences. Our house has a doggy door to allow dogs freedom to go in and out. I am prepared to snuggle, play with or walk any dogs that come into my home. My kids are also very comfortable and available to help care for dogs in our home. They are accustomed to our house being open to other dogs and they are great about caring for other’s dogs.

Information Christie S. would like to know about your pet

I like to know what helps your dog feel at home. What are their eating habits? Where do they normally sleep at night? How do they do when you leave the house? Can they use a doggy door? My biggest concern is making sure your pup feels safe and comfortable while they are in my home and away from you.

A typical day

I love to spend time with our visiting dogs in the backyard exploring all of the smells and playing with toys. We also spend quite a bit of time playing inside with toys, plushies, whatever the dogs show the most interest in! When everyone is tired, I enjoy curling up with a book and snuggling pups for a peaceful afternoon. If it’s a school day, I love walking the dogs to pick up my kids from school (less than 1 mile from our home). It provides a stimulating walk for the dogs and a fun walk home for my kids.
