I’m an extremely caring pet lover who has spent her entire life around dogs, cats, and horses. I have two rescue dogs of my own with their own sets of quirks, which require me to take special precautions during walks. One of my dogs has noise aversion and will get nervous while walking where is a lot of commotion, while my other is a tripod and gets tired quickly. I’m very much able to tailor walks to a dog’s specific needs and limitations, whether they prefer walking around the neighborhood or at a park, moving quickly or slowly, etc.. I grew up in a houseful of large dogs, and my parents taught me to respect their space and read body language since I was only a child. I also grew up riding horses and competing around the country before college, and have the knowledge and ability to handle anything, from a newborn kitten to a horse. As an adult, I’m heavily involved in the rescue community, having rescued all 4 of my pets, and being a foster for cats and kittens. Through my childhood and experience as a foster and dog/cat mommy, I am experienced in administering medications as well (including insulin). If you choose to hire me as your walker, just know that I will care for your pets as if they’re my own. I can be flexible with my schedule if need be, so please feel free to reach out!
