I am a pet owner who understands the worry of leaving your furbabies and home in the hands of a stranger so I am motivated to do the best job possible. I've been a stay at home dog mum/house wife for the last 3 years since I moved here from Australia. Prior to moving I worked in high school education for 11 years. From working in education I have studied a bit of behavioral psychology and find that what applies to humans a lot of the time applies to animals. They are emotionally intelligent beings that deserve understanding and respect. I've had pets all my life from mice to sheep and everything in-between. I'm always the go-to person for friends, family and neighbours for pet sitting, walking and care. I am a responsible adult with great work ethic and enthusiasm. I will be dedicated to care for your pets with whatever they need. I currently have 2 dogs, a Basset Hound a Bichon Frise. I'm happy to work with pets with big personalities and challenging behaviour. My behavioural approach is based on building positive relationships, understanding and consistency. I have recently completed first aid training for cats and dogs through the American Red Cross. I am also able to administer medication and care for pets at all stages of life.
