Pet care experience
I have been a pet sitter since I was a child — thinking it could be a way to convince my parents to finally let me get a dog (spoiler: it worked!). I have a cat of my own, but love dogs, bunnies, and all furry pals just the same! I walk typically 5-10 miles a day and am a distance runner, so if your dog has a ton of energy and loves to run, it would be a dream for me to take them! Days at Cheesman, City Park, or Wash Park are my favorite days and I would love to spend time there with yours.

Christie was a great sitter for our two dogs, she was able to skillfully help manage our older dogs medications and food routines while keeping him calm while we were away. We would highly recommend Christie to any Rover families seeking a quality & attentive sitter.

I am big believer in spending as much time outdoors as I can. I live near local parks and try to get out for a run every day and would love to bring your dog with me! I also love long walks, regardless of weather. I also love downtime to hang with older pets as well, just try to relax with them and enjoy the company!

I ask owners tell me: 1. How their dog interacts with other animals 2. Their typical walking route and if there’s a preference on dog parks vs city parks 3. Energy levels 4. How to best promote positive behaviors / distract for negative behaviors 5. Meal schedule & any additional guidance they may have :)
A typical day
I try to meet animals at their level and keep their routines consistent! For younger dogs, I love to take them along with me for walks or big mornings full of fetch at the park. If your dog is a bit older or you have a cat, I love spending time on the couch with them while I do some work. Just let me know what your pet loves, and I’ll take it from there!

I work from home full time, with a very flexible schedule. I’m new to the area so I have a lot of availability on weekends and weeknights — here to try to work with your schedule as best I can!
