Pet care experience
Greetings! My name is Christy, and I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s). I had the joy of spending 10 years with Bogey, an amazing hound that I rescued from a shelter in Alaska. After seeing Bogey over the Rainbow Bridge when it was his time, I've poured my love for dogs into dogsitting and giving pet owners the comfort of knowing their loved ones are being loved on by a dedicated, professional, reliable person. I recently moved from Alaska to the Colorado Springs area, but I still have folks asking to fly me back to dogsit! I've worked with dogs old and young, healthy and needing medical care, and I love them all. I've been in situations where it was necessary to leave my dog with others, and I know that can sometimes be a difficult and anxious time for dogs and humans if you don't feel that you have the right person. Can I help you out by caring for your dog as if it was my own?

Christy did a great job taking care of our dogs for the day after our puppy cut open his leg and had stitches. She was able to give him his medicine and make sure he didn't chew at his stitches while we were at work.
Christianne is a patient and kind caregiver. Whether it's a quick walk or she's overnighting in our home- we are confident our German Shorthair and Chesapeake are in good hands when in her care.
Christianne is THE BEST dog sitter. She has watched my two dogs many many times and they love her to death. She is super friendly, dependable and will always go out of her way to make sure your pooch is well cared for, exercised and completely loved on 24/7. She is a true dog lover. Your pups might not want you to come back. She's that good!

This way I can set us all up for success.
A typical day
Dogs that move are happy dogs. I am happy to throw balls and frisbee, play with toys, and pet/cuddle. I am more of an at-home person, so your pup will not be spending much time alone According to their abilities and your direction, I will take your dogs on walks around the neighborhood, on trails, or in dog parks. (Hounds are welcome in my car.) Being from Alaska, I'm unfazed by bad weather. Of course, my utmost priority will always be the safety of your pet.
