Have had my own dogs and cats all my life. Experience with in-home care and dog training. I've looked after a dog with neuro-muscular disease and special dietary needs.

Our dog Mochas stay at Christiane’s place was as good as it can get. Mocha got everything she needed from going to the dog park to play fetch to getting snuggles from Christiane and chilling with her dog Leona. Also got daily updates with photos which are always much appreciated :) Mocha will now be a regular here!
Christiane & her pup Leona were so wonderful! Iggy was totally comfortable the whole weekend and came home exhausted from all the play and walks. She provided regular updates with photos and videos. Drop-off and pick-up were really smooth also! Thanks Christiane!
Selfishly I do not want to leave a review because I want to keep Christiane all to myself! She is new to Rover - Calgary so that’s why minimal ratings but I took a chance with my dog Chance 🤣 She is kind, caring, loving and great communication. All the things you would want. So much so that I’ve already rebooked her. ❤️

I have a fenced in yard, with room to play and run on the grass. I have a Bernese Mountain dog, who is very well socialized with other dogs. I also have two cats. If your dog does not like cats, they can be set up in a separate part of the house. I'm happy to have a crate for your dog if you prefer, but also fine to have him or her have the run of the house. I treat my animals like they are my best friends and I love having them around me all the time

A typical day
I love going for walks. I live within two blocks to an off-leash area and from there close to Fish Creek Park for leashed walks. I also like running and if your dog is fine to run, I'd love to do that. At home, I have a large fenced in yard, good for playing fetch etc. There is plenty of shade in the summer.

I'm currently working part-time hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and on those days I'm out of the home no more than 2 hours at a time). I'm always home all day Thursday through Sunday.
