Three years formal work with The Seeing Eye of Morristown working with guide dogs for the blind. I started as a kennel assistant, with time becoming one of the weekend supervisors. I have over 20 years of private petting and farm sitting mostly for friends and family. I have on the job training in wide variety of medical treatments that older or medical dogs may need, such as pilling, IV and IM injections, and Sub q fluids. I've worked in animal welfare covering care for new born puppies, elder dog care, rehoming animals from hoarding cases, and preforming behavioral assessments of cats and dogs for adoption. My wife and I have two career change Labs at home from The Seeing Eye that we raised and trained from puppies ourselves, Alice being eight, and Ellen how is now three. We normally will have a foster dog in the home as well for a few months at a time.
