Pet care experience
Here's the long and short of it: I love dogs. I've grown up around them my whole life. I am a disciplined, gentle person. But one who is not beyond spoiling their nephew every once in a while. I'm an actor who has an MFA, with a B.A in Business. I'm not famous, but I've been on TV. I'm a cool person. I love a good pun. I volunteer at animal shelters. I hope to adopt a Pit Bull someday and name the dog something awesome like Lula or Chaz or Royal or Penelope. Let me know if you have any questions at all or need any more info from me. Christian is a wonderful dog and house sitter. He took care of my puppy for the weekend, fed him on time and walked him frequently. He sent me updates throughout my trip and my house was exactly as I left it. He even bought me extra poop bags since I had run out. I will definitely use his services again!
Christian has dogsitted our dog multiple times throughout the years and has been a wonderful friend to our black lab mix, Earl. He is an incredible reliable person in general, but Christian also helped us potty train Earl and implement a bell system where whenever Earl needs to go out to the bathroom he rings a bell that hangs by the door. It is very convenient. Earl has once or twice realized that if he rings the bell he gets to go outside no matter what, so we have to be sure to nip that in the bud and put him in the basement as punishment for those instances. But it was Christian who really turned us on to this method of bathroom control/monitoring. He is great with all dogs and really looks out for their wellbeing, health and happiness. I cannot recommend him enough. I've known Christian on a more personal level than most clients he has, but he is a smart guy, very adaptable and talented and I love him to death. Hire this dude! I love all dogs. As long as they don't pee on my face, then I'm accepting/loving of dogs of any race, color, creed or sexuality. Things I would like to know: eating habits, bathroom habits (mainly frequency), dog's favorite toy, etc.
A typical day
Walks, obviously. Playing, of course. Petting, big time. But also I am a film connoisseur, so teaching your dog the finer points and techniques of Martin Scorsese. Or examining the career trajectory of Meryl Streep. This will only allow your dog even more things to talk about with their new friends at the dog park. My old Dog (Miles) used to love the Golf Channel, so that is also an option.
