I'll Love Your Baby Like My Own
Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since birth. I have experience as a foster dog mom and dog sitter. All of my friends use me to care for their pets. I have owned 6 dogs in my adult life, 5 have sadly passed on. I now live with my 25lb chi-terrier mix and 2 kitties. I have experience with senior pets (in fact they have a very special place in my heart), special needs pets and with animals who have past experiences of abuse. Professionally I work with special needs children so I have a lots of patience and ability to work with animals and people! I am comfortable with big and small dogs and all types of critters. I grew up with Old English Sheepdogs so I know even GIANT breeds! I'll love yours like they are my own! Thanks for reading about me!

We couldn't have had a better first experience using Rover. Tia helped us out on very short notice and took care of Albus like he was her own. We'll definitely be using Rover again and Tia will be our first choice of sitter whenever needed. Thanks!!
Tia has dog sat my 3 pound chihuahua on numerous occasions, for as long as a week. Treats my baby as her own and I trust her fully. Also sat for my previous senior chi and would accommodate her very specific food needs and would give her her meds on time daily. Nothing but a loving dog mom herself, would recommend trusting her with your little or not so little one.
Tia is a wonderful dog sitter. She has watched our English Bulldog many times and always takes great care of him. He has some dietary restrictions and Tia is always great at making sure he doesn't get food he shouldn't. She treats him like she treats her own pets and is an expert at giving lots of love and attention. I have seen her manage lots of different dogs over the years and I am confident she can care for any dog. I can't recommend her more.
Tia has watched my energetic dog on many occasions. She is very attentive and patient with him, and always does more than what I ask of her. She also watches many of her friends dogs on the weekends, just for the fun of having them around. 10/10 would reccomend.

I have a fenced (5ft chain link) in yard. I live about a mile from a huge trail system. I allow pets on furniture and in all parts of my house. If you want your dog crated I can keep the crate in the main living area or a bedroom, whichever makes them more comfortable. I am able to block off parts of my home so if you pet just needs a little or lot of space to roam in I can make that work. I do have two cats who have free fun of my home. Any dog I babysit in my home must be ok with cats. My cats are very friendly and very comfortable with dogs. I have a neutered 25lb doxie/chi/terrier mix who is good with other dogs. Your dog would need to get along with him as well if they were staying in my home.

I love ALL dogs. I would want to know what you do with your dog. Are they allowed on furniture? Do they come along when you run errands? Do they like to play? I want their time with me to be as similar to home as possible. I like bringing my pets with me to run to the store so if they like the car I will totally take them along.
A typical day
Go on walks, go to the beach and park if your dog enjoys it, walk to farmers market, car rides if they like them. I like to do what your dog likes.

Availability
I work as a teacher. I work a regular day 8-4 but have most weekends and evenings free. They would have to be alright with a work day alone but I will love on them as soon as I am home.
