Music Row WFH Dog Mom 🐾
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Christi and my little dog's name is Tinley. :) I live on Music Row in Nashville and work remotely in Finance from my apartment. I started on Rover back in 2016 dog sitting and then got my own dog in 2019. It's a very pet friendly unit with lots of natural light, scratch proof floors, and easy to clean furniture. The building itself has a huge area of grass right across the street and is walking distance to vanderbilts grassy walking area and Tony rose park! I work from home full time and have experience training dogs as well, so if you're looking for some behavioral training in combination with dog sitting we can talk more about that, too!
Reviews
Christi is absolutely amazing! Can't say enough good things about her! Second time using her and this time was for an entire week which is the longest I've been away from my pup. Christi sent tons of pictures and kept Ellie super active the whole time- I think Ellie was even sad to leave when I got back and picked her up! :)
See my many previous reviews. She never disappoints!
See my last trillion reviews of Christi. She's the best, my go-to
I can't say enough good things about Christi. My fiancé planned a surprise trip and got in touch with her last minute and she made this happen. She's so sweet. By far the best sitter I've ever had :)

I care for the dogs who come to my home the same way I care for my own dog, Tinley. The dogs will be walked separately (not together). This might be due to my background in dog and horse training, but I like to devote all of my attention to the dog I am walking so they know I am in charge, pay attention to me, and I can also ensure they don't try to eat anything. If I feel like they do well together then I will take them together but only after learning their separate personalities and quirks :) Depending on your dogs activity level, I will switch off either taking Tinley for a longer afternoon walk, or your dog. If it's a consistent sitting (every day during the week for an extended period of time) I'd switch off days on who goes to the park. One day Tinley would go on the longer walk, the other day your dog). Tinley gets two meals a day, at 7:30AM and 3:30PM. She gets a longer walk (depending) at 11AM, but given my flexible job schedule, I can provide potty breaks and meals in alignment with your dog's current schedule. My daily cleaning routine involves a steam mop for the floors (so no chemicals or heavy scents) and water wipe downs of the counters twice a day. When I do clean the counters, I'll do a water/vinegar/essential oil mix, but I'm always careful about that and will open the windows so as not to overload Tinley with scents). If I do leave the house, I have three pet-cams that give me notifications for noise only (I used to have motion alerts but it was way too much!). Since I am such an early riser, both Tinley and I check-out around 8-9PM every night (even on weekends), so you won't have to worry about your dog being with someone who is out late/taking them out in the middle of the night or super early morning hours.

Information Christi P. would like to know about your pet
1. Is your dog comfortable in elevators with other dogs? 2. Does your dog need frequent bathroom breaks? 3. Does your dog have any behavioral quirks? (I.e., dont pet its head or kiss its face etc.) 4. When was the last time your dog was cleaned? 5. Is the vet close by ICE? Do you have a friend or relative in town who you would like me to contact ICE? 6. How sensitive is your dogs stomach? Can they self regulate their own food? 7. Is your dog up to date on all vaccines/nail trims/when was the last time your dog had a wellness check at the vet?
A typical day
Depending on when your dog is used to his/her “long walk” will depend on when we go for our longer walk(s). Usually the morning is a quick potty before breakfast. Then some play time before settling down for work. I work from home so lots of petting and attention takes place in between work calls! I love to go hiking and love long walks myself so that’s always something I’ll do around doggy happy hour - or simply go to the park!

Availability
I have my own dog, Tinley, and my day honestly revolves around her ! Her schedule is very consistent: Out around 7:30-8, breakfast, out at 11, sleeps in the sun while I work until about 4. Out at 4, dinner at 4:30. We usually do what I call “doggy happy hour” from 5:30-6:30 at a park or hiking and then on last potty around 9. Any dog I am watching fits into this, too, unless special arrangements are requested.
