Pet care experience
I am an animal lover with a flexible schedule trying to save up for graduate school. I spent a lot of time dog sitting and walking dogs when I lived in Minnesota but I recently moved to Illinois and am looking to make some furry friends! I have dog sat in homes and taken several different breeds for walks, including walking two dogs at a time. I am also able to run with your dog if needed. I am comfortable with most breeds of dogs and cats, as well as other small animals if they need to be checked on during the day as well. I would be more than happy to update you with photos of your pet when I am caring for them.

My dog Rollo can be standoffish and even aggressive with new people, so I’ve had a lot of anxiety about a sitter popping in on him. But Rollo thinks visits with Christi are ZOMG PURE FUN. Such a relief to have her. Christi takes pretty adorable photos, too (even my cat comes out to hang with her!), and it’s very reassuring to know she’s got things under control. Highly recommended.
Christi was absolutely amazing with the kitties!!! I highly recommend her cat sitting as well! Excellent excellent care by far!
Christi on multiple occasions has watched out two dogs, which at times can be difficult. Our German Shepherd is not super welcoming to new people, and Christi was great at giving her time and space to warm up to her, and getting to know her personality. She has built the trust and now my German Shepherd loves it when Christi comes around. She has also been able to handle our hyper Siberian Husky pup, who is a ball of energy! Between the two she has maintained control of the dogs, and even got our husky to walk better on a leash!
