Pet care experience
I grew up in the Midwest with lots of dogs, and since moving to NYC 5+ years ago I’ve been an approved foster with several local agencies. Let me help you by providing cuddles and care while you’re away from home, and you’ll help me get my “dog fix” since I’m not able to adopt right now. I live close to many parks despite not having my own yard, and I have plenty of energy for long walks or jogs. I have experience with large and small breeds and various energy levels and needs, as well as with seniors, puppies, and administering medication. From the outset of my inquiry Christen was friendly, receptive, and professional. When I met her I knew it was a match and she looked after my cat Ernie for four days. Ernie is such a mama's boy that I worry when I go away but I came home to a very contented and relaxed boy. Christen's daily updates were great - thorough and much appreciated! 10/10 would work with Christen again!
Christen was so wonderful with our 17-year-old mixed breed, Sofie. She was super kind and attentive to the special needs of an older dog, including carrying her up and down stairs in our house and making sure Sofie ate her food. Christen is a great communicator who readily responds to messages, sends updates about Sofie's care and, provides pictures daily. She is super lovely person and we would hire again the next time we need a dog sitter.
Christen was absolutely amazing, we would have her watch our cat over and over again! She took great care of Weasley, constantly updated us with pictures and texts, and really looked after the apartment. It was very clean and tidy when we got back and Weasley was well fed and groomed. We would highly recommend using Christen to watch your fur babies!!!

If I’m dog-sitting in your home, I’ll be sure to scout the best green space nearby where your four legged love will get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and interaction with other fur-friends (unless he or she is a Lone Ranger, which I’ll happily accommodate).
